Thanks Angie for "reminding" me to blog about this initiative and event. Sorry for the delay. :)

I'm very impressed with this initiative called Moms4Projects. Founded in 2013 and fully self-funded by a mother herself, Moms4Projects is a job, business and community platform dedicated to women and mothers across borders.

I'm very impressed with this initiative called Moms4Projects. Founded in 2013 and fully self-funded by a mother herself, Moms4Projects is a job, business and community platform dedicated to women and mothers across borders.
This platform - Moms4Projects.com - aspires to be a one-stop platform for women and mothers who would want to work from home, be in employment with flexible hours arrangement, or take on short/long-term projects on a freelance basis.
Moms4Projects brings women together with these activities: business-related and get-together events, tailored trainings, workshops, and seminars on latest knowledge, skills, business know-hows, and start-ups. Moms4Projects also connect employers with professional working women in various fields and vice versa.
Last Saturday, 15 August 2015, Moms4Projects organized the Moms4Projects Mini Job Fair & Bazaar (preloved/handmade/homemade sale) at Wisma WIM @ TTDI KL from 10am to 5pm.

Interesting array of preloved/handmade/homemade stuff. |
More booths! |
Homemade mooncakes booth by an NGO, Malaysian Child Resource Institute (MCRI). |
Lovely homemade cakes by Heather from MCRI. |
Each box comes with four mooncakes (with four different flavors, i.e. lotus, pandan, single egg yolk, red bean). In the box are also four paper slips printed with children's rights statements as well. I find this very thoughtful and educational.
Everything is homemade - the skin, the paste. Lovely! |
