First London Street Family Park in Malaysia by The Parenthood

Malaysia's FIRST London Street Family Park by "The Parenthood" is opening its doors to the public tomorrow, Saturday 5 December 2015!

This first-of-its-kind Family Park is designed to mirror the London streets and its architecture by showcasing British flags, red post boxes, a miniature London bus on display, and quaint shops/outlets nestled along yellow-marked tar roads against the backdrop of the English castle.

Located on the second floor at "The Parenthood", Sunway Putra Mall, this park offers parents and their children (ages 0-12) an avenue to Learn, Play, Enjoy, and Enrich - individually and together - all under one roof. This is the ultimate venue to seek modern-day parenting amenities, services, products, and enriching experiences for parents and children.

Photos to follow in this post. Before that, let me highlight their security wristband to be used in "My Kingdom" Indoor Playground by The Parenthood.

The wristband for guardians is marked with the letter 'G' whereas the one for children is marked with the letter 'C'. The wristbands are "tagged" together in the system. If anyone other than you tries to bring your child out from the "My Kingdom" playground by The Parenthood, the staff will cross-check the wristband number in the system. If the numbers don't match, the child will not be allowed to leave the playground with the adult. This feature will give parents peace of mind. However, please still be watchful, cautious, and on alert all the time when your children are in the playground.

This Family Park functions as a one-stop solution provider that provides four major aspects for both parents & children:

#1 - Relaxation & Leisure: There is a Beauty Secret Studio that provides hair care products and services, facial, massage, pedicure and manicure, etc for both parents and kids. There is also a fitness center equipped with WiO Express's Power Plates and other fitness props for parents.

#2 - Educational & Play: The themed indoor playground offers treasure hunt games, flying fox, spider tower, transparent spiral slide, multiple slides, ball pit tunnels, and play bridges. There are also workshops and enrichment classes for parents and children from academic to hobbies and sports.

#3 - Shopping: Designed as a mini mall, there are more than 30 retailers offering products and services for mothers and children, including necessities, stationery, games, toys, hobbies, and collectibles. Retailers include familiar brands such as Pigeon, Pureen, Grolier, Faber Castell, etc.

#4 - Dining: Lillipilli cafe that serves healthy food. There are also television screens opposite one of the cafes for parents to oversee the kids in the playground.

Other services include "Drop & Shop" for children of 4 years old and above, organizing birthday parties at party rooms that can accommodate up to 40 children. There is a nursing room for mothers in the facility as well.

Mr Leroy also mentions that they have been awarded the "First Family Parenting Park with Retail Outlets" by the Malaysian Book of Records! Not only so, in April 2016, there will be a bigger space located at Sunway Pyramid and they are bringing in a real London bus, not just a replica. Wow, that's gonna be so much fun!
