Garage KBBQ serves authentic Korean BBQ and other delicious food and beverages that Korean cuisine fans are familiar with, such as samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly), soju, jiggae (stew), tteokbokki (rice cake), ramyeon, jeon (pancake), and more.
The restaurant owner is a South Korean and he's pretty hands-on in serving his customers.
When you dine at a Korean BBQ restaurant, you gotta order their samgyeopsal (pork belly). In the photo above, there are samgyeopsal, moksal (neck), samgyeopsal marinated in gochujang (Korean red chili paste), and moksal marinated in doenjang (fermented bean paste).
A variety of banchans (side dishes).
Another angle of the banchans. Also seen in the photo above are kimchi jiggae (bottom left) and ramyeon (served in a stainless steel pot with handles).
Pan-fried mandu! Mandu are classic savory Korean dumplings. These delicious mandu are filled with ground pork, tofu, chives, garlic, and ginger. They resemble gyoza or potstickers.
What you see in the photo above is gyeranjjim (Korean steamed egg).
Garage KBBQ also serves a variety of tbeokbokki for those who love this Korean sweet and spicy rice cake dish.
I always find dining in Korean BBQ restaurant a wholesome feast. You have everything from fresh vegetables, kimchi, side dishes, meat, stew, noodles, rice.
Grilling the meat.
Soju! No Korean meal is complete without soju. You have to order at least a bottle. Next to try on my list is makgeolli (Korean rice wine).
The next time you're in Puchong Jaya area, let's have a round of decent Korean meal at Garage Original Korean BBQ (51G, Jalan Kenari 17F, Bandar Puchong Jaya, 47100 Puchong).
