Kinda feel like reminiscing the 3 weeks that I spent in Russia earlier this year. It was winter, my second winter. I experienced my first winter in Taiwan but it wasn't snowing although I did experience the urgency to keep my cheek and fingers warm from the "abusive", icy cold wind. Thailand was quite cooling when I visited Chiengmai, but that was not winter.
Winter in Russia was a total different story.
Winter in Russia was beautiful. I couldn't deny the harsh cold that gnawed my bones but the serenity, the tranquility was beyond words. The snow flakes were astonishingly beautiful as they landed gently and unknowingly on my winter coat. I was dumbfounded. I was speechless. The beauty of mother nature caught my breath.
