Today's Bible verses that remind me of the Lord who guards us from stumbling.
Jude vv. 24-25
But to Him who is able to guard you from stumbling and to set you before His glory without blemish in exultation, to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord be glory, majesty, might, and authority before all time and now and unto all eternity. Amen.
* Cross reference for But to Him... (Jude v. 24) is the following verse.
1 Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, He who has called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and ground you.

2 Peter 1:10
Therefore, brothers, be the more diligent to make your calling and selection firm, for doing these things you shall by no means ever stumble.
I realize that the Lord has asked and is still asking the Father to keep me out of the hands of the evil one. A sister shared with me Jude 24-25, concerning the Lord who is able to guard us from stumbling and that this guarding is by faith. So, on our side, faith in the Lord is so crucial. Then, from there, I found out so many related verses from the cross references!
The Recovery Version is truly a companion.
