From Business Times:
MOBILE phone operator DiGi.Com (6947) Bhd, as part of its effort to woo more postpaid customers, has launched its first retail concept store known as DIGI360'.
With an investment of about RM3 million, the store spans about 3,200 sq m in size and offers a variety of personalised customer service, phone accessories and data services like content downloads, games and internet browsing services.
"It is only natural that DiGi is looking into expanding our postpaid segment which offers a more stable revenue for the company," chief commercial officer Tom Schnitker said during the launching yesterday (21 November 2008).
As at September 30, DiGi had 976,000 postpaid users and 5.83 million prepaid customers, or 6.8 million customers in total.
Targeting expatriates, young professionals and enterprise business, DIGI 360' features an interactive wall that provides information about DiGi products and services. It also introduces a queue management system, which eliminates the need for customers to queue, but instead a customer service relation officer will approach those who walk into the store.
Located at Solaris Mont Kiara, DiGi is using the store as an experimental platform to try out which service concept works best before implementing it at its other 20 customer service centres nationwide.
