I love Google Maps. In fact, I love any map, I mean good maps, not misleading ones. :P
I started working at my current company, at SS6 (Kelana Jaya) in 2007. At that time, my sister and I rented a room and stay with a young couple in Section 14, Petaling Jaya, from March 2007 till June 2007.
Then, this couple rented a bigger house in Taman Mayang Jaya in June 2007. So, we followed them to the new house and as usual, we rented a room from them. I remembered exactly that we moved from Section 14 to Taman Mayang Jaya on 15th June 2007, exactly one day before my birthday. This young couple has two daughters at that time, their third daugther has been born end of 2008. Arrgghh!!! Girls!!! Little girls are demanding. Their eldest daughter created this memory. :P
Then, on 15th June 2008, due to some changes in our environment, my sister and I moved from this house at Taman Mayang Jaya to another house at another corner of Taman Mayang Jaya and we stayed with another family, also a young couple but they have only one son, a toddler.
Okay, here's the hilarious part. This year, my sister and I need to move AGAIN! And I guess the date would be 15th June 2009. Oh God. This current landlord's wife is about to give birth this July and they've to take back the room. So, my sister and I were given approximately 3 months to find another place to stay. Sigh.....
So, it seems that moving house has become an annual event for me, sort of like my birthday bash, I guess. Adui. My Streamyx bills, credit card bills, insurance statements, etc... need to tukar itu address AGAIN!!! Oh my...
Hidup berkelana sungguh menyedihkan.
And I hope there are good-hearted people out there who would either help me to find a place to stay or help me to move my stuff when that day comes. Haha.
Okay, here's a list of my preferred areas:
1. Taman Mayang, Taman Mayang Jaya, Taman Megah
2. Kelana Sentral
3. Kelana Putera/Puteri
4. Dataran Prima
5. Tropicana
6. Taman Paramount/SS2
7. Bandar Utama
If possible, I don't want to end up at number 5 to 7.
Other criterias:
1. No family house again! If the wife got pregnant, we kena tendang keluar again.
2. Female housemates preferred.
3. Non-smoking unit.
4. Preferably apartment/condo.
5. Not more than RM500 per room laaa... Very poor jor.

Kelana Sentral is surprisingly cheap and very close to the office. I am considering moving too. Dataran Prima is usually 1.5 - 1.7 k.
ReplyDeleteI only got this price coz I know the landlord.
Except I can't move coz Streamyx is on a 12 month contract. :(
I need to find a housemate too. Except I'm looking for smokers coz I smoke in the living room. :p
LOL. Kelana Sentral is not surprisingly cheap lerrr.
ReplyDeleteI got an appointment with one girl this Sunday and she said the room is RM700 (plus utilities) for 2 persons. Damn expensive!!
But Kelana Sentral is new. I think gotta snoop around and see whether can get one whole unit.
Hahaha! Yeah, I hope I can find a place soon too.
