SUPER EGO-EMO POST

This is one SUPER EGO-EMO post before I burst into tears and cried myself to sleep, disgruntled, disappointed, and really unhappy. :(

Here you go:

1. I went happily and beaming with rays of hope to DiGi Specialized Store at One Utama, LG, New Wing to register for one of the DiGi Broadband ~ Broadband Done Right packages.

2. You know what? The fella at the counter told me one disastrous "truth"! My IC number HAS BEEN BLACKLISTED BY TMTouch FROM REGISTERING TO ANY BROADBAND SERVICE BY OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS!

Cursing silently as I walked out from the DSS: HUH? TMTouch? SIAOCOM? HEY, MY 013 TMTouch LINE HAS BEEN TERMINATED 7 FREAKING YEARS AGO. YES, IT'S SEVEN YEARS, NEITHER MONTHS NOR DAYS! NOW ONLY YOU TOLD ME MY IC NUMBER IS BARRED AND BLACKLISTED? Yes, ALL CAPS means shouting.

3. I called Siaocom's good-for-nothing helpline and the fella who attended to my call, after asking for my IC number and verification details, told me:

a) Oh yes, my terminated line and account are still in their (Siaocom's) customer database.
b) My IC number has been blacklisted although I've no outstanding balance with them.
c) But, he can't do anything apart from asking me to go to one building called Menara PKNS at Jalan Yong Shook Lin to settle this problem.

So? Does that mean I've to go to that menara what-what-what to clear my name? Arrgghh! May be I should do so this Friday, since yellow people are on replacement leave, I can take leave too, I hope. If I got no Internet connection, how am I going to work from home if the need arises? (Quoting an pre-empted email).

Now, EDGE is giving me problem:

1. Loads websites like a snail crawling from one stone to another stone.
2. Disconnects me from Windows Live Messenger indefinitely.
3. Uploading pics to Blogger takes dinosaur years.

Okay, something to brighten up the last few minutes before I hit the sack:

1. I've gotten my access card done to enter all security check points at Sterling Condo.

2. Kinda found a place to park my sister's car. Quite far from Sterling Condo and we've to walk quite a distance to get back to the condo. Better than none.

3. Thanks to all who comforted me via Twitter since I can't log on to Windows Live Messenger. :)
