"The Unbelievable" is a 2009 Hong Kong horror documentary movie based on the popular Hong Kong TV series (怪谈) that explores the spiritual world and its related events and practitioners.
Shooting was done at various locations in Thailand and in Ipoh, Malaysia. Shot as a documentary or reality TV series, "The Unbelievable" explores paranormal-related events such as voodoo practices, phantoms, exorcisms, haunted buildings, and communicating with the dead. In fact, the main focus of the film crew was to capture ghostly images or the spirits of the dead with their ever-rolling hand cameras.
Truth to be told, this movie was seriously eerie and creepy. You need to have both strong heart and guts to watch it. Why? I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw footage of REAL, rotting corpses from the 2004 tsunami catastrophe, car accident casualties, suicide victim, possessed girl, and crazy voodoo practitioners who tore up animals! All these were caught on cameras, UNCUT! Arrgghhh!!!
*vomits*
Catch its trailer here.
I shall not watch anymore horror movies till the end of the month. :S
