I believe, most of us have read Charles Dickens' timeless tale, "A Christmas Carol" when we were young. Even if you haven't, it's okay.
Here's a little synopsis: On a Christmas eve, Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly and bitter miser must face the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come in order for him to be guided to repentance due to his harsh and bitter manner of life before he suffers the worst fate in his life.
This is a rather dark and gloomy animated movie with a heavy sense of dread, bitterness, and punishment. I'd say I don't really like the story except for its excellent and awesome 3D technique. If you've watched Beowulf (2007), it's that almost real-life technique that A Christmas Carol is adapting.
One more thing, I'm so used to American English that I find British English a bit hard to understand. The fact that I'm straining my ears to understand the conversation also contributes to the reason why I don't enjoy watching this movie very much.
Anyway, if you love Disney's animated movies, you won't want to miss this movie. :)
