Watching The Storm Warriors is like watching an anime with real human beings in flesh and blood in action. Or it could be like reading a manga with colors on big screen. Weird but it's an expected experience because this movie is adapted from the comic itself.I'm not a big fan of the Storm Warriors franchise. So, I watched this movie out of curiosity and due to its heavy promotion for months. So, you've Aaron Kwok as Cloud, Ekin Cheng as Wind, and Simon Yam as Lord Godless.
This movie depends heavily on CGI especially during fighting scenes. I believe some fighting scenes are real but CGI technology enhances the effects and such and that's very ENTERTAINING. Note how I stress the word entertaining.
This brings in my conclusion as follows. Overall, The Storm Warriors is an entertaining and non thought-provoking movie, except the fact that I don't really like its ending. Well, watch it or not, it's up to you. If you don't enjoy watching movie for the sake of entertainment, skipping it will do you no harm. :)
