I was reading this article: "Make popular sci-fi characters yourself by using paper" and saw these awesome Star Wars characters papercraft made by a Japanese graphic designer called Shunichi Makino. Apart from Star Wars, he has also made characters from Star Trek, Transformers, Iron Man, Terminator, etc.
It's great that he provides DIY links, i.e. pattern downloads in PDFs on his website. Star Wars fans who are also into artwork or papercraft would love to reproduce these awesome pieces, I believe. But then, I wonder if Shunichi Makino commercializes his art. If these pieces are sold as DIY kits, I bet there will be a certain market for it.
