Synopsis from tfwiki.net: The Autobots continue to work for NEST, but no longer in secret, and for the goal of keeping peace between humans by taking out volatile overseas political targets. But after discovering a strange artifact during a mission in Chernobyl, it becomes apparent to Optimus Prime that the United States government has been less than forthright with them.
"Everything humans know of our planet we were told had been shared. You lied to us." Optimus Prime

This is NOT Transformers, this is BAYformers, quoting a friend. BFM Radio, during the What The Flick show, commented that Transformers 3 or TF3 in short, has too much violence and too little heart.
And here's what I have to say. The Autobots in this movie are NOT the Autobots I grew up with. The Autobots in TF3 harm human beings, the reason being they are human allies and part of their job is to take out volatile overseas political targets to keep peace between human beings. HUH?
The Autobots in this movie are ruthless and merciless (except Bumblebee). And, Sentinel Prime is not the usual Autobot that you expect it to be. My mind is blown into pieces. And yeah, here's a liner from Optimus Prime: "We will kill them all." Umm, the Autobots leader can be such a heartless killing machine?
Michael Bay, if you couldn't meet Paramount's insane timeline to make TF3 in 2 years, you should have told them NO! or something in that effect.
I'm severely disappointed. TF2 is already very absurd and TF3 is even worse. However, if you like BAYformers, go ahead and watch it because if you're not a traditional TF fan, you can be rather amazed with the special effects and stuff like that.
By the way, some Autobots died and most Decepticons died, so I guess TF4 is quite unlikely. Good!
Here's a 9-min video clip:
