This spring, prepare for their excellency.Your Highness (2011) is fantasy comedy movie filmed in Northern Ireland.
Synopsis: Thadeous (Danny McBride) and his brother Fabious (James Franco) are the princes of the Kingdom of Mourne. While Fabious is handsome, courageous, and well-liked by the people; Thadeous is lazy, irresponsible, and useless.
Upon returning from a successful quest, Fabious wants to marry Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel) whom he rescues from the evil warlock Leezar (Justin Theroux) and his witch-mothers. However, Belladonna is recaptured by Leezar who's attempting to fulfill a prophecy of a warlock having intercourse with a maiden when the two Moons converge, thus begetting a dragon that will allow him to take over the Kingdom of Mourne.
Fabious and Thadeous embark on a journey to rescue Belladonna and they are joined by Isabel (Natalie Portman) who's seeking revenge for her father's and brothers' murders.
This is a very stupid movie. It mocks everything related to the medieval era - kings, princes, princesses, knights, monsters, evil wizards, witches, etc. with exaggerating sarcasm and cynical humor. Also, this movie can pass off as a mild porno movie minus hardcore graphical scenes. There are just way too many unnecessary jokes about men and women genitalia, intercourse, etc.
I couldn't understand why A-list actors such as Natalie Portman and James Franco would even bother to star in such a dumb movie with a useless plot, silly acting, and horrible script.
Anyway, if you like this genre of movie, I mean brainless slapstick comedy, you might just need to sit back and enjoy the sheer stupidity of it.
