My latest haul from SHIN KOREA on Shopee

 

One day, about maybe 10-11 months ago, after I started binging on K-dramas, I stumbled upon an ad on Facebook about SHIN KOREA's physical outlet in Cheras (106, Jalan Damai Raya 2, Cheras). But Cheras is so far away from where I stay or work..... 😥😭

So, the next thing I did was I looked for SHIN KOREA on Shopee. To my absolute 😄😁 joy, they are on Shopee! And the rest was history. Oh ya, they also have their own website - SHIN KOREA (Authentic Korean Mart).

 

Let's have a look at my haul... 👍🏻👍🏻

 

 Korean ramyeon (instant noodles) imported from South Korea, makgeolli, sweet pancake mix, and the yellow ramyeon pot that I really, really want to get my hands on!

 

 Maxim and Kanu instant coffee sachets.

 

 More ramyeon packets! By the way, all products sold on SHIN KOREA are originally imported from Korea.

 

 The yellow ramyeon pot! I bought the 16cm one. I think this size is just nice to cook one portion of Korean ramyeon.

 

Oh the joy of cooking ramyeon using its dedicated pot!

Palsaik Korean BBQ @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil

Have you heard of Palsaik Korean BBQ?

From their website, Palsaik in Korean means 'eight colors'. Palsaik Samgyupsal means eight colored pork belly. These eight colors correspond to eight different flavors of pork belly that they serve.

 

The eight flavors are Ginseng, Wine, Pine Leaves, Garlic, Herb, Curry, Miso Paste, and Hot Pepper. I'm not quite sure which flavor is my favorite because they are all really delicious!

 

I love eating samgyupsal the ssam (wrap) style. It's basically wrapping grilled pork belly with kimchi, green chili pepper, and some ssamjang sauce in a piece of lettuce leaf.

Not forgetting makgeolli!
